On the penultimate day of London Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2020, Burberry presented its latest seasonal offers on the runway headed by Riccardo Tisci.
On his third appearance for the British fashion house – and one of the most anticipated catwalks of the season – Tisci sent out a series of airy layered looks and powerful tailored suits that managed to strike a balance between streetwear and luxury. The sleek and playful silhouettes were held in restrained blacks and whites, along with simple shades of gray, pale blue, and the house’s signature camel and ivory tones. The silk scarves and some women’s dresses were jungle-inspired prints.
Among the outstanding pieces was the functional outerwear for the men with multiple pockets and visible zipper details, while the fit with its sleek tailoring and perfectly pleated trousers also stole the show. With the small leather goods, belts and silk scarves of the label, the appearance was increased. The latest outfits of the show featured male models wearing hats with crystal veils.
