The Disney sequels just keep coming. After “Avengers: Endgame” and “Toy Story 4” – and with “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” on the way – the studio released a new trailer for another franchise on Monday. up: “Frozen 2.”
This time, Anna, Queen Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf set out in search of the source of Elsa’s forces they must do to save their kingdom from evil.
On the way, they face a mysterious storm, massive ocean waves, a series of monsters and other forces that threaten our favorite characters.
Three years after the original “Frozen” of 2013, the animated adventure follows Elsa (Idina Menzel) and her sister Anna (Kristen Bell) as they leave the country Arendelle on a search north, which is drawn by a mysterious voice, the Elsa hears. Her friend Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), the snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) and the reindeer Sven set off.
New cast members include Sterling K. Brown as a lieutenant who assists the sisters in their mission to rescue Arendelle, and Evan Rachel Wood as Anna and Else’s mother, Queen Iduna. This role was relatively small in the original and was previously voiced by Jennifer Lee, who returns as co-writer (with Allison Schroeder) and co-director (with Chris Buck) of the sequel.
